Tulum Food Photoshoot for Teetotum Hotel

We had a great time photographing some food for Teetotum Hotel last week. We selected 5 dishes and decided to shoot 2 specific styles. The first look was very well lit and clean chosen to showcase the fresh ingredients and bright colors of the dishes. The second was a more dramatic set-up for a more striking image showcasing the textures and details of the dishes. We also made sure to provide a variety of angles and compositions to allow for flexibility when using the images for Social Content, Web Content, Menus, or Marketing materials.

Richard and his team were absolute superstars. When photographing food for a restaurant you always want to make the food looks great, but you are always want to ensure the images are going to accurately represent the food that will come out of the kitchen for clients to avoid them being left disappointed or feeling cheated. Well, I can assure you that the food coming out of the kitchen for clients was every bit as meticulously prepared and presented as these photos. I have to take my hat off to the chefs who take such pride in their dishes.

Teetotum is based on the Main Road down to the beach but still very centrally and easily accessible from both the Hotel Zone and downtown Tulum. The vibe is very laid back and the venue itself is bright and airy with a great ambiance complemented by good music. The menu hosts a variety of options from around the world and they have some great specials throughout the week. If you haven’t already, you should check it out!
