Tulum Couples Photoshoot with Ozge & Umut.

This was one for the books! When Ozge & Umut contacted me they were already in Tulum and we had limited time for a shoot. We managed to arrange for a sunrise shoot the next day and boy did this couple bring their A-game! They were one of many couples around the world who had their marriage plans affected by COVID and decided to take this special opportunity of being in the Riviera Maya to get all dressed up and do a photoshoot to celebrate their relatively new marriage.

We met at their hotel, the beautiful Encantada, on the southern end of Tulum’s famous Hotel Zone. It’s a beautiful hotel set in amongst the palm trees and on a gorgeous strip of powder white sand and the turquoise Caribbean Sea, basically a postcard of paradise. Our timing was perfect and we enjoyed shooting through an amazing sunrise before that warm glow of the Mexican sun shone through and onto those magical Tulum Candyfloss clouds. From there we headed to their balcony for a few shots there in the lovely morning light before heading on to our final location, one of our private Jungle locations to complete the shoot. All in all, we spent around 2.5 hours together as time flew! We took way too many photos and I honestly could have edited them 3 different albums without a duplicate, thank goodness they chose the images they wanted to be edited or I would have had a serious headache having to choose!

It was an absolute pleasure working with such lovely clients who asked the right questions, listened to my ideas, and were great collaborators in producing an awesome set of images to celebrate this special part of their journeys.
